- Dr. Rodriguez is pleased to offer virtual consultations for patients who live in Texas but are not in the greater Houston area.
- Prior to the virtual consultation, you must sign the consent form for the provision of telemedicine services. Dr. Rodriguez is not able to proceed with your virtual consultation unless the consent form is signed and received by our team prior to your appointment time. This form will be sent to you electronically. If you have any issues accessing this form, please contact our team for assistance.
- Before your virtual consultation appointment with Dr. Rodriguez, you will be sent a link to our secure, HIPAA-compliant healthcare portal where you will be asked to enter your health history. Please take the time to do this fully and accurately. This will save you time on the day of your virtual consultation and will provide Dr. Rodriguez with important information for crafting a safe treatment plan for you.
- You will also be invited to upload photos to the HIPAA-compliant healthcare portal. These are stored confidentially as part of your medical record. Dr. Rodriguez will refer to these photos as she creates a customized plan to address your areas of concern.
- If you are interested in scheduling a consultation with Dr. Rodriguez, please schedule an in-person appointment.
- Since COVID-19, the regulations for telemedicine are frequently changing. Due to a change in Texas law in May 2023, Dr. Rodriguez is unable to offer virtual consultations for new patients that live outside of Texas.
- Our team will strive to streamline the process for you, before and after surgery, to try and minimize the number of required trips to Houston.
